Valencia duo David Villa and David Silva have again been linked with a move to Manchester United.
The reigning English champions are again the club in question and they are reportedly preparing a £40million double swoop to bring the pair to Old Trafford.
Although Valencia have repeatedly said the Spain teammates are not for sale, the fact they are facing financial trouble means they will certainly take on board the proposed offer.
"The club made a great effort to keep our players this summer but our economic situation remains very serious,” said Valencia club director Fernando Gomez on Spanish TV.
"It was a success to keep them, but there comes a point when you can't stand it anymore. We may have to sell Villa."
It is believed United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is determined to get his men who he moved to sign during summer but could not land the deals.
